Specialist Notes
First edition of the most important work by Argoli, professor of mathematics in Rome and then in Padua. The second volume deals with "excellent patients" and is made up of 126 square astrological diagrams. The work is interesting because it contains one of the earliest attestations and citations of Harvey's discovery of blood circulation in 1628.Caillet, 8365.
