Florence, Magheri, 1832. In 8th. Vignette on the title page, bearded specimen, some files of different format, slight scattered reddening, binding of the period in half parchment, leather gusset with gold title on the back.

Specialist Notes

First printed edition of this poem in third rhyme composed by Boccaccio in the years preceding 1334, in which the author celebrates in a courtly key, as followers of the goddess Diana, the most beautiful women of the Neapolitan society he frequented. Graesse I, 456.
