Padua, Seminary Typography, 1732. In 2nd. Complete with the supplement published in 1760, Monitum quae hactenus proposita sunt. 566x396mm. Engraved title page, title in red and black with large engraved coats of arms and 260 engraved illustrations including 86 headers, 86 initials and 88 endings, all finely engraved by Robert van Audenaerde. Coeval binding in half leather and cardboard.

Contents of the work: Numismata I-LXXX edited by Giovanni Saverio Valcavi, Numismata LXXXI-LXXXV described by Angelo Antonio Fabro. Splendid copy of the first edition of this impressive publication, one of the most elegant of its kind, dedicated to the Barbarigo family and produced under the supervision of Cardinal Giovanni Francesco Barbarigo. Brunet IV, 138: "ouvrage magnifique". The specimen also contains the 35-page supplement with medals LXXXI-LXXXV, published in 1760.
