Information
17th-century body, made from a deer antler, featuring a beautiful depiction of the Adoration of the Crucified Christ, made in bas-relief on a segmented background, depicting Christ in the centre on the cross and three figures in adoration: one armed with a sword (St. Peter?) on the right side, and two others on the left side. At the bottom is a small Memento Mori with skull and shinbone. The back of the body left in its natural state. The body has been reassembled, probably during the historicism (late 19th - early 20th century) with horn mounts and with an iron fuse provided with a spring lock. With two small loops.
