A fine pair of rifled, round, damascened, 15 mm cal. barrels (65 cm long), with rib signed in gold "Mangeot Arq.er de la Cour a Bruxelles", the base engraved with foliage, foresight, brass-tipped iron ramrod. A pair of smoothbore, cal. 18 mm (76 cm long) barrel decorated en suite, with brass-tipped wooden ramrod and iron cartridge extractor. Wide tang engraved with Bacchus among leaves. Forward spring locks finely engraved with bas-relieved foliage and signed en suite around the hammers. Beautiful, briarwood half stock micro-checkered at the neck and at the palm-rest; iron mounts decorated en suite. With an escutcheon featuring the monogram "AM" at the handle. In its original wooden case lined with bordeaux velvet and complete with all tools including the beautiful powder flask, the ball flask, the screwdriver, the nipple wrench and more.
