dating: End of 19th beginning of 20th Century provenance: Sarawak, Long, single-edged, machete-like blade, widening towards the weak, the shoulder with another, single-edged blade on one side, pierced and carved at the back; wide areas with rust damages. Triangular deer-horn hilt partially sculpted with geometric motifs, the base with a woven fiber band. Fine wooden scabbard; the front surface engraved with a snake, anthropomorphic figure and geometric and floral decorations, above decorated with fifteen coins (the sixteenth is missing) from different countries and eras (dated from 1766 to 1945). Very rare. length 67.3 cm.
