dating: End of 19th beginning of 20th Century provenance: Sarawak, Long, single-edged, machete-like blade, widening towards the weak, provided with a single-edged blade on one side; pierced and carved at the back. Small areas with rust damages. Triangular deer-horn hilt partially sculpted with geometric motifs. The base with a woven fiber band. Fine wooden scabbard; the front surface engraved with snake, anthropomorphic figure and geometric and floral decorations; the upper part decorated with five coins (the sixteenth missing) from different countries and eras (dated from 1835 to 1921). Remains of suspension rope. Very rare. length 78.5 cm.
