Chalcographic coat of arms of the city of Viterbo on the title page, 25 plates out of text engraved in copper by Sintes and Frezza based on a design by Giuseppe Sisto Fietti, with the last white, a slight halo of humidity on the inner edge of the first cards, some small tears without loss restored, slight blooms and redness, small 2H1-3C4 woodworm hole, half leather binding with corners and marbled paper, smooth spine with gusset, mottled red cuts, very slight defects.
Specialist Notes
First edition, in excellent copy, of the most famous history of Viterbo, by the regular cleric and minister of the infirm Feliciano Bussi. The numerous tables depict the plan of the city, its monuments and the most illustrious palaces. Graesse, I, 581.
