In 8th. title page within typographic frame, initials and xylographic friezes, rare annotations, frontispiece trimmed and glued along the inner margin of the second paper, small tear without loss at the upper margin, browning, some stains and slight flowering, halo at the inner margin and very small gaps at the white margin of the last cards, last card detached, contemporary parchment binding, partially detached from the body of the book, gaps in the spine, tear at the hinge, defects.

Moralistic treatise inspired by the biblical studies of the Croatian author, born in Split (1450-1524). Marulìc (Italianized Marulo) is enjoying a new fame starting from the century. XIX onwards, when it was the subject of a powerful rediscovery and enhancement in the frame of the Croatian National Renaissance for its production in the Croatian language, in particular in the Chakavian dialect.
