With 14 full-page plates, engraved and watercolored by Victor after Bessa, with tissue paper, including the front door, color figured vignette on the frontispiece, damp spots on the first cards, scattered blooms, back binding in decorated hardcover, green leather with author and title in gold.

Elegant edition illustrated by beautiful hand-colored plates and enriched by a & nbsp; Dictionnaire du langage des fleurs. The tables are based on the & nbsp; drawings by Pancrasse Bessa, a pupil of the famous Redouté, and engraved by Victor. The work was a great success.
