Frontespizio e testo inquadrati da cornice tipografica di doppio filetto, solo 1 tavola con veduta del paese di Scornello a doppia pagina incisa nel testo, molte piccole incisioni nel testo e xilografie nel testo raffiguranti frammenti storici rituali della remota nazione etrusca, restauri e fori di tarlo, leggera gora d'acqua ai margini legatura del sec. XIX in mezzo vitello, al dorso autore e titolo e fregi impressi in oro, piatto anteriore e dorso staccati.
