Antiporta incisa in rame, 3 tavole incise in rame a piena pagina e 1 ripiegata, fregio xilografico al frontespizio, iniziali e finalini xilografiche, lavoro di tarlo al margine interno inferiore dalla prima carta a B2 che interessa l'angolo inferiore dell'incisione all'antiporta, carte leggermente brunite, poche carte con piccole macchie, legatura in mezza pelle del sec. XIX con titolo e autore impressi in oro al dorso a 5 nervi, leggere spellature al dorso, lievi difetti ai piatti.
Prima edizione tradotta in francese di questa interessante opera postuma sulle religioni indiane realizzata dal missionario danese Abraham Roger, che ha vissuto a Pazhaverkadu, in India, dal 1631 al 1641.
