Always attentive to the investigation of photographic language, Luigi Erba from Lecco has investigated juxtapositions, overlaps, and the dialogue between frames that from far away become close. This has resulted in particularly original works such as the one presented here, made by first photographing a landscape and then, after having reloaded the already exposed film in the camera so as to obtain a double exposure, another geographically distant one. The fact that he did not know with extreme precision the result he would have achieved suggests that the act of shooting is also an act of performance.
