Specialist Notes
Reproduction of the evangelistary made between 980 and 993 in the Scriptorium of the Abbey of Reichenau, commissioned by the archbishop of Trier Egberto. It is the oldest illustrated representation of the life of Christ to come and consists of 165 parchment sheets with 60 miniatures, of the seven made by the miniaturist known as Master of the Registrum Gregorii.
