Curved, single-and short false-edged blade, likely an earlier adaptation of a broader blade; sides with fuller and half-blued, engraved with racemes, trophies and Turk's head, as well as cartouches with cabalistic numbers, gilt designs. Tang with gilded mesh decoration. Brass hilt with flat quillon, loop-guard webbed upward, long cap with squared outline. Grip with antique leather handle and copper wire binding with spiral. Black-dyed iron scabbard (later?) with brass mounts; cap with button. Probably dating back to the French Directory epoch.
