Metal skull covered with black fur (Phoca vitulina, very small missing parts); marked silver mounts, gilded crest (incomplete crown) the star also gilded featuring the crowned monogram 'VE', chin-straps with scales. Interior with brown sweat band and blue silk cap (signs of use and time). Complete with the very rare plumage of aigrette and heron feathers. Very rare.
