Heavy, rifled, two-stage, 14 mm cal. barrel, octagonal at the first part, rib with scale from 1 to 8, probably for an adjustable rear sight. On the left side a folding lever with a gold mark "PATENT LONDON" and engraved with floral motifs. Octagonal also at the second part, but slightly reduced, with frame of the same shape provided with sight at the nozzle. The base consists of a separate element, decorated with gold frames, engraved with floral motifs and a deer, provided with a pivot on the left side. Engraved tang provided for a support for a peep sight. The lock signed "A. F. BIVEN REGENT ST. WATERLOO PLACE," finely engraved with floral motifs. Wooden half stock with checkered hand rest and base. Iron mounts decorated en suite; the trigger guard with finger support. Butt plate with magazine for two cartridges and provided with a spring to release them; the cover can be opened by a hidden button. Originally manufactured without ramrod compartment. A very rare system.
