Frame marked "No. 8840T", "F.O" and engraved with floral motifs, the border outlined. Frame, grip-strap and barrel with 90% of the original bluing, frame marked "W. SCOTT & SON WHITTALL ST. BIRMINGHAM". Magazine and trigger marked "W. TRANTER'S PATENT". Checkered, wooden butt. Working mechanism.
