Smooth, five-shot cylinder, with engraved front border, marked "CD" under crown, "D" under crown, "AF" under crown "A", with serial number "62xx" and with mark of the Liège test bench. Frame marked "CD" under crown and "ADAM'S PATENT" on one side and with Adams' 1851 mark on the opposite side; above marked "MANUF.D BY C. D. DULY AND LEGALLY LICENSED" and engraved with floral motifs, side cartridge rammer. Checkered, wooden grip scales, engraved iron butt-plate. Working mechanism.
