dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Germany, Heavy, twisted barrel (3.2 cm wide, 13 mm cal.), rifled (clean bore, visible rifling), with rear sight and foresight. Large and short tang finely engraved with floral motifs. Backward spring lock with remains of engraved decorations. Walnut wood full stock with checkered hand rest and base, butt with fine vein (cracks), two club guides for a peep sight on the back. Iron mounts with beautiful engraved decorations. Horn fore-end cap. Set trigger. Horn-tipped wooden ramrod. length 127 cm.
