dating: circa 1800 provenance: England, Smoothbore, round, 18 mm cal. barrel, with round frame and marks of the test bench at the base (GR under crown), foresight (which also makes the clutch for the bayonet); tang with '39' mark under crown. Flintlock marked 'GR' under crown, 'TOWER,' 'R&RS,' and with a mark. Borders and cock with double lines. Wooden full stock (small missing parts) with smooth brass mounts. Iron ramrod and socket bayonet. length 139.5 cm.
