Christian Vieri, known as Bobo (Bologna, 12 July 1973), is a former Italian footballer, who played as a striker. Considered one of the strongest strikers in the history of Italian football, he played for thirteen teams, eleven of which were Italian between Serie C1, Serie A and Serie B and two foreign (Atlético Madrid and Monaco); His name is mainly linked to Inter, whose colors he wore from 1999 to 2005, winning the 2004-2005 Italian Cup. He had previously won the 1996 UEFA Super Cup, the 1996 Intercontinental Cup and the 1996-1997 Italian championship with Juventus and the 1998 Italian Super Cup and the 1999 Cup Winners' Cup with Lazio, as well as various individual titles among which the title of top scorer stands out of the 1997-1998 Primera División with 24 goals and that of the 2002-2003 Serie A, as well as three AIC football Oscars (Best overall footballer 1999 and Best Italian footballer 1999 and 2002). His transfer from Lazio to Inter in the summer of 1999 for 90 billion lire was a record in the history of the transfer market at the time. With the Italian national team he made a total of 49 appearances and 23 goals, taking part in two World Cups (France 1998 and South Korea-Japan 2002) and one European Championship (Portugal 2004); during the 2002 world championship he reached the Italian scoring record in the World Cup held by Paolo Rossi and Roberto Baggio, with 9 goals. He also won the 1994 and 1996 European Championships with the Under-21 selection.
