Original comic art made by Pratt for the final page of "Treasure Island", his famous reinterpretation of Stevenson's novel, first published in 1966 and recently reprinted in the homonymous volume by Lizard in 2010. For Pratt, "Treasure Island" has a huge inner meaning; it was his first coming-of-age novel and was given to him (in the English version) by his father Rolando, who was now a prisoner of the English in Africa during the Second World War. Pratt himself says that the last time he saw him, his father gave him the book he had talked so much about with young Ugo and said to him: <> Colored in blue tempera on the back. Signed.
