Original illustration made by Fabbi for "L'Orlando furioso", published in the thirty-eighth canto by Nerbini in 1933. An internationally renowned painter, Fabbi is considered one of the greatest exponents of the orientalist movement. On the back are the verses of the illustrated episode << Charles benignly picked her up, and went out to meet her outside the pavilions; and then he turned over all the kings, princes and barons who sat at his side. >>.
