a) Attributed to Andrea Sacchi (Rome 1599 - 1661), Study of three cloaked figures within lunette (recto) and figure studies (verso), red pencil on paper, 191 x 272 mm;

b) Roman school, late 17th; Study of a kneeling figure (recto) and some Studies of figures (verso), black pencil and white lead on gray paper, 193 x 276 mm


Provenance

Giancarlo Sestieri Collection, Rome.
The first derives from the frescoes by Annibale Carracci and atelier in the Herrera Chapel, originally in the Church of San Giacomo degli Spagnoli in Rome.
