Smoothbore, round barrel, with octagonal breech (clean bore), featuring the date "1859", mark with decussate keys, "C.15.2" mark and various numbering, with 15 mm cal. at the nozzle. Numbered tang. Forward spring lock marked "Mazzocchi Roma". Three-quarter wooden stock, numbered en suite with the barrel. Interesting brass mounts all numbered en suite with the barrel and screws (also numbered). Working mechanism. Iron ramrod with numbering matching to the screws.
