84 x 63,5 cm
Original large format illustration made by Folon for the famous screenprint entitled "Le rêve de pierre", printed by the Atelier Jacques Marquet in Paris and published by Olivetti in 1970. Artwork published in the exhibition catalog "L'illustrazione racconta: la collezione Cereda" on page 30, published by the Peano Foundation in 2022. One of the most iconic images of Folon's entire production: << Where does Mr. Folon's little blue man live? He lives in a landscape full of watercolor veils, between vague mountains like theatrical backdrops and colorful deserts. He is alone, desperately alone. He almost always looks lost into space like someone who struggles to recognize a friendly face or a familiar landscape. The line of the horizon blurs for him as in a precocious myopia: the contours fade decisively into the indefinite. >> Slight abrasions at the corners, slight creases and two small tears on the right margin, missing on the lower right corner. Signed, dated and dedicated to the writer, poet and journalist friend Giorgio Soavi.
