Notes: The Lindberg Hour Angle is one of the most iconic watches ever produced by Longines, designed for aircraft pilots to precisely locate their position (longitude) during flights, basing the calculations on Greenwich mean time. In 1930, the American aviator Charles Lindbergh helped design the timepiece, sending his drawings to John Heinmüller, who was the president of the International Aviation Federation, as well as the director of Longines-Wittnauer in the United States: after only five months, the first prototype was born.
