Massive, wide, single-and false-edged blade with light fuller, the tip with two spikes, the base engraved with trophies, sun, stars, moon, pandur's head and cabalistic symbols; the back engraved with curls. Monumental, gilded-bronze hilt, the quillon provided with langets and two valves finely decorated with trophies in bas-relief on a granulated background; wide loop-guard decorated with palmettes; pommel decorated en suite with the loop-guard, long back with trophies. Wooden handle with leather covering featuring brass wire binding, three convex, brass rivets on each side. Leather-covered wooden scabbard (missing parts) with three gilded-brass mounts majestically engraved with trophies, rocaille and grooves. Two large suspension rings, iron knuckle guard. An exceptionally rare and beautiful weapon, of this quality and in these dimensions, is extremely uncommon.
