Specialist Notes
This BNC 527 type Monza, chassis 27031, was completed on 24 March 1927. It remained in the factory until 3 June of the same year when it was bought by Mr. Lobre, who from 1927 to 1930 will purchase another 5 BNC 527s. We know nothing about the car until 1980, when it was discovered in a semi-abandoned condition, in the Belgian countryside, by Mr. Orsoud, who buys it. In the south of France, a restoration begins but he did not complete. It was bought by an Italian collector who took it to Brescia where the restoration was finally completed in 2003. After being FIVA certified in Strasbourg in 2004, in yellow, it participated in the Mille Miglia from 2004 to 2007. In 2014 it was sold to another collector who, after painting it blue, resold it to the previous owner in 2018. The car is today in perfect condition, both mechanically and bodywork. Perfect for concourses d’elegance and competitions, it is eligible for the Mille Miglia, as it already participated in the editions from 2004 to 2007.
