Italy [Pisa], with the characters of F. Didot, 1828. In 8°, 150 x 105 mm. Joined with: New way of understanding the Zerg language, that is, speaking slyly, again reprinted by alphabetical order., on p. 73-120, with the notes of the reference edition: In Florence at the Scalee di Badia, 1619.
Fascinating pamphlet on the origin and life of vagabonds, also called Bianti or Cerretani or Pitocchi... or as they were defined in 32 other ways which he lists on p.2. The author dedicates a short chapter to each of these groups, in which he tells the origin of the name and above all different stories. Equally intriguing is the final section dedicated to sly speech, with a rich vocabulary of voices in the Zerga language.
