Specialist Notes

According to the Catalog of the National Library Service the typographical references found in the repertoires are the following: published in Basel by Andreas Cratander in ca. 1523. (see VD16 P3111; NUC, v. 460, p. 302); published in Basel by Jacobus Parcus in ca. 1542. (see ADCAM P1343). Graesse cites two reprints, in the first of which (Cattopoli [Giessen, i.e. Frankfurt]: 1667) we read "nuncque secundo juxta editionem colonensem anni 1535 editi" and in the title page of the present edition we read "nunc vero primum impressi", therefore yes could deduce that it is the edition printed in Cologne in 1535. The present edition is also enriched by numerous annotations, manicules and underlinings: a copy worth studying.
