First and only edition of this important historical work in which the author (Dominican friar, born in Castel S. Giovanni in 1503 and died in Piacenza in 1587) chronologically records the adverse events, invasions, wars, famines, pestilence, etc. which fell upon Italian towns and cities from ancient times to the Middle Ages.
