Specialist Notes

An almost contemporary copy, a few decades after the first printed edition of 1655.
Paladin of Piedmontese historiography, Della Chiesa promoted the the claims of the Savoy to the royal title, as well as the need & nbsp; to spread a history of the ruling house at a European level, with the need to make the Savoy dominions themselves known. With this in mind & nbsp; will publish & nbsp; Blazonry flowers to decorate the Crown of Savoy with the friezes of nobility , released in 1655 and the & nbsp; Royal Crown of Savoy , & nbsp; or both Relation of the provinces and titles belonging to it , appeared in two volumes in 1655 and 1657. The primary character of these works is precisely that of making known and disseminating the merits and the & nbsp; nobilitas & nbsp; not only of the Savoy dynasty but of their own domains and their nobi lity "distinguished original". & nbsp;
