Paris, Pierre Michel Lamy, 1784. In 4th. Eye, woodcut vignette on the title page, headboard and friezes engraved in wood, with 239 chalcographic plates by the author, rare papers with light burnishing, slight scattered blooms, small tear restored with 3U tape without loss, contemporary binding in green canvas and cardboard, with author and title stamped in gold within a red patch on the back, flaws on the hinge. Ex libris on paper and stamps of belonging to the end cap.
Specialist Notes
Painter, engraver and military engineer, Sebastien Le Clerc, (1637-1714) trained at the Académie royale de peinture et de sculpture, was an admirer of & nbsp; J. Callot and S. Della Bella, from which he drew inspiration.
