Richard Parkes Bonington (1802 - 1828) was one of the most important landscape painters of the century. XIX, a fundamental figure for understanding the romantic art of French and English origin of the period. He trained in Paris, where he met Eugène Delacroix and worked in the studio of Baron Antoine-Jean Gros. At the Paris Salon in 1824 he was awarded the gold medal along with & nbsp; John Constable and Copley Fielding. Throughout his life he traveled tirelessly in France, Great Britain, Switzerland and Italy.
