Rare original edition. Macchiavelli (1693 - 1766), in this work reconstructs (also with the kit of drawings of his sister) the history of the silver bolognino, describing "various ancient coins, which never existed" (Fantuzzi, p. 97) , taking advantage of the opportunity to exalt illustrious ancestors who really existed, such as Blessed Alessandro Macchiavelli, Dominican and reader of theology, who died in 1441 (Mazzetti, p. 187), or others who did not exist or historically less consistent.
