Florence, Giunti, 1573. In 4 °. Large and elaborate Medici coat of arms in the center of the title page with the representation of the cosmos where the six Medici balls stand out, countless diagrams and images in the text, slight browning, 19th century binding in cardboard. Evanescent traces of ownership note on the title page, thickly annotated by a contemporary hand but the notes partially trimmed.

Specialist Notes

Interesting study copy of Dante's Sphere, published the previous year in princeps and reprinted several times.
