Exemplary in beards, half-title with text framed by a beautiful typographic frame, with intaglio illustration of the Gulf of Naples on the title page, with 12 engraved copper plates including the Map of Naples, missing the Contour Map, restoration of first two cards, coeval parchment binding with author and title stamped in gold within the spine.
Specialist Notes
New edition of the work published in 1792 by Galanti (1743 - 1806), one of the wittiest analysts of the economic and political conditions of the Kingdom of Naples. In 1781 he published & nbsp; Description of the ancient and present state of the County of Molise & nbsp; and & nbsp; Historical essay on the constitution of the Kingdom of Naples , inquiries that were very popular with Ferdinand IV Borbone who commissioned him to carry out an in-depth investigation which culminated in the publication of & nbsp; Geographic and political description of the Sicilies (Naples, with the Members of the Literary Cabinet, 1786-1794). Monumental work considered one of the first statistical surveys in Europe.
