Account of the celebrations held in Brescia in 1762 in honor of the elevation to cardinal of Giovanni Molini (1705-1773), Bishop of Brescia. The text describes the illumination of the city, the ball held at Palazzo Molino in Venice, the triumphal arches erected throughout Brescia, a celebration at the College and the illumination of the grand staircase of the monastery of Santa Chiara and includes sonnets written by local poets in homage to the Cardinal. The celebration was designed by the local architect, painter and priest Gaspare Turbino, and the two engraved panels illustrate the staircase of the monastery illuminated for the occasion and the stage of the College Theater richly adorned with statues and arches.
