Fashion and art, enterprise and genius intertwine once again in a new charity event promoted by Dolce&Gabbana in partnership with Confindustria, Veneranda Biblioteca Ambrosiana of Milan and Finarte.
This initiative comes after the success of the exhibition “Imagining the future – Leonardo da Vinci: In the mind of an Italian genius”, organized by Confindustria for the opening of its new headquarters in Washington D.C. in the summer of 2023. This event brought, for the first time ever, twelve tables of Da Vinci’s Codex Atlanticus from the Biblioteca Ambrosiana to the United States, with Dolce&Gabbana serving as a major partner. The fashion house is reaffirming its support for Italian artistic and cultural capital by auctioning twelve special Alta Sartoria foulards. The entire proceeds from the sale will be donated to the Veneranda Biblioteca Ambrosiana in Milan, contributing to the conservation and preservation of its heritage.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
No additional auction fees will be charged in the event of adjudication.
Should a bid be received on the complete collection of 12 foulards (lot 1), this would automatically invalidate all bids on the individual lots and from that moment on, it would be possible to compete by bidding for the complete collection.
