Literature

A. Cremona (a cura di), Disegni di Architetture Romane di Augustin-Théophile Quantinet (1795-1867), Roma 2016, n. 36, pp. 44-45 (ill.).
The palace project is attributed to Baldassarre Peruzzi, with probable intervention by Antonio da Sangallo the Younger, between 1520 and 1527 commissioned by Giordano Missini from Orvieto. In the autographed annotations on the sheets Quantinet declares his admiration for Roman architecture and the ambition to draw inspiration from it for buildings to be built in Paris.
