Album composed of two cardboard plates held together by ties, which contain 104 algae applied on sheets of various sizes, each with its descriptive card that also specifies the place of collection, dating 1882. On some sheets, using special cards, of each alga the vulgar name, the order, the family, the place of collection, the precise date and the name of the collector are indicated.

Specialist Notes

Precious algal herbarium, useful as a tool for research on the biodiversity of marine algae. This work was performed on behalf of the Central Hydrobiology Laboratory of Rome. & Nbsp; The & nbsp; Vettor Pisani & nbsp; it was a pyro corvetta & nbsp; ad & nbsp; helix & nbsp; della & nbsp; Regia Marina , active between 1869 and 1892.
