Specialist Notes
The Alfa Romeo 1900 was built between 1950 and 1959. It was the first Alfa Romeo built entirely on an assembly line, starting high-quality mass production at Portello. First monocoque production car and the first Alfa Romeo offered with left-hand drive. The 4-door 1900 Sedan was the only model available until the introduction of the 1900C coupé in 1951 and the TI sedan in 1952. Production ceased in 1959 with a total of 17,243 cars produced in various trim levels. Our 1957 car, chassis 18208, was registered in 1958 with a Trieste license plate, which it still has today. The car has 37,000km under its belt, of which 3000 have been driven after a well-documented full restoration. It retains the first log book and plates, the “uso e manutenzione" manual and the “manuale riparazioni", which are rare to find. FIVA and ASI Targa Oro certified, it is suitable for regularity racing and potentially eligible for the Mille Miglia.
