Round, rifled barrel, with octagonal breech, mark with Savoy shield, "CB" and with a third mark (not clearly legible), 17.9 mm cal at the nozzle (a small deformation and pitting). Bore with visible rifling and signs of use inside. Provided with front sight and foldaway rear sight. A crowned mark "B..." and "TA168." near the base of the piston. Forward spring lock marked "BRESCIA 1864" surmounted by the crowned Savoy shield. Working mechanism. Wooden full stock with remains of numbering on the butt plate, partially pierced, iron and brass mounts. The iron parts with some pitting. Iron ramrod. With artilleryman's bayonet (length 58.3 cm) with a double-edged blade and brass hilt with numbered quillon; without scabbard. Working spring.
