Notes: The Daytona 6265 was introduced to the market in 1969, along with its twin reference 6263; they remained in production until the late ‘80s, when Rolex launched its first chronograph with automatic movement, reference 16520. Given the extended period of time in which they were marketed, the 6263 and the 6265 are perhaps the two Daytona models par excellence: the watch offered in this catalogue represents the most iconic and desired version by collectors, with the Daytona writing printed in large red characters, called "Big Red".
Additional detail of interest is the end of production "R3" serial number.
