Information
Totally washable baby doll in lacquered tarlatan, entirely hollow and made in the style of Chinese lacquer, i.e. by several layers of colour on a very light cloth structure. The face is very similar to Series 0 (Lenci cloth dolls from the 1931 catalogue), but more tender and alive. Head and limbs in lacquered Lenci cloth.
The washable baby dolls constitute the bridge of passage and continuity between the two characteristic periods of Lenci production.
The technique used to make the body makes this type of doll absolutely unique and very rare.
