Rome-Venice, Emilian typography for Ongania, 1896. 305 x 220 mm. Bearded copy with editorial binding preserved inside a valuable "doge commission" style binding with recessed compartments, with the Savoy arms in the center.
Specialist Notes
First edition. It is probably the presentation copy made by Ongania for the House of Savoy, which financed the publishing enterprise. Numerous facsimile reproductions of cartographic and documentary material.
