Heavy, rifled, three-stage, 16 mm cal barrel, octagonal at the first part with long groove starting at the tang, then featuring a brass-inlaid gunsmith's mark and the the date ‘1651’, adjustable and slightly engraved rear sight, then sixteen-sided and finally octagonal at the nozzle, brass foresight. External wheel lock with flat plate decorated with a double groove starting from a common point and widening, with same gunsmith's mark near the wheel; carved hammer and spring, pan with sliding pan cover and spark arrester. Wooden full stock decorated with black horn plates; fixed patch-box (to be freed); under the butt a firebrand mark in the shape of two mirror fish and with inventory number ‘5’. Anatomical trigger guard pierced with geometric motifs. Trigger with working set trigger. Wooden ramrod.
