dating: 19th Century provenance: Borneo, Heavy and impressive curved, single-edged blade, with carvings at the edges and engravings along the back, with brass inlays on both sides. Carved and pierced bone hilt, the base covered with vegetable fibre wire binding, the pommel with long black horsehair. Partially carved wooden scabbard with braided, vegetable fibre bands. Suspension rope and various pendants made of bone and wood, and a Chinese porcelain cup. Small damages and missing parts. Malaysia, West Borneo or Sarawak. length 72.5 cm.
